Irene Muzet

This is Anne Ochoa. I'm fundraising for an emergency for Irene Muzet. She is still in Paige as of Saturday 2/18. I'm helping her to find a car repair shop and get her car towed. It will probably be in Elgin. The right front tire is at a 45 degree angle and she thinks the tierod and arm are broken. So it will be expensive. She also needs a place to stay for both short and long term. Anything you can do to help would be welcome. (This is my first gofundme page, so I don't know about updates, but I will post if possible.) Thank you.

Update on Saturday evening 2/18. Irene’s car has been towed to a repair shop in Elgin. She is now back in Lago Vista temporarily, staying with Liz Donegan and her partner Karen Van Ness for a couple of nights. (Irene and Karen had worked together on the LV Parks and Recreation Committee back in the day.  How well that worked out!)  Her car may not be ready until Wednesday, and your very generous donations will go to that repair bill, along with any living expenses she may have.    As most of you know she is also homeless, having been evicted from her apartment last week.  Please forward this to anyone who you think might help.
