Our beloved Irene Dearie passed away on the 13th of November 2021.
An ever optimistic, enthusiastic and loving woman, who had a fierce love for her family and friends. A lady who loved fashion and food, but above all - her family.
In her honour, we would be so grateful to anyone who donates on her behalf to Strathcarron Hospice.
Irene spent 12 weeks at Strathcarron being looked after, by an incredible team of nurses, doctors and carers who doted on her and looked after her so well. They truly go above and beyond with their care, and we know that they made her feel so at home and loved. Any donation made to them will be used and appreciated so much.
Strathcarron Hospice provides specialist palliative care and expert end of life care for the people of Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. They care for people with illnesses that cannot be cured including cancer, lung, heart or kidney failure and a range of non-malignant and neurological diseases. They are also actively involved in research and education in palliative care and promote and influence the delivery of palliative care locally and beyond.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to the family during this time and the beautiful memories shared with us has helped us cope with this immeasurable loss. She was the most loving and loved woman.
Lots of love - The Dearie / O'Rourke / Gorman families
