Hi, Huu Thien und Timur hier. Wir sind Medienstudenten der Hochschule Furtwangen. Gleichzeitig sind wir im 1.66 COLLECTIVE, in der junge Medienschaffende mit ihrer Begeisterung kreativ und authentisch gestaltete Projekte produzieren.

Der Kurzfilm wird im Rahmen unserer Bachelorarbeit produziert. Beide Aufgaben erfordern bereits einzeln viel Arbeit und Zeit. Deshalb sind wir auf eure Unterstützung angewiesen.

Worum es in unserem Film geht?

Die türkisch-stämmige IREN will ihre Karriere als DJane weiter aufbauen und stößt dabei immer weitere Konflikte innerhalb ihrer ohnehin brüchigen Familie auf. Gefangen im Generationen- und Kulturkonflikt ringt sie um Anerkennung für ihren unkonventionellen Lebensweg.

Ein Film, der zeitgemäße soziokulturelle Phänomene darstellen und ein Blick in die moderne türkische Migrantenfamilie werfen soll.

Wohin fließt eure Unterstützung?

Wir möchten einen packenden Film drehen, der nicht nur unsere These unterstützt, sondern auch die Zuschauer*innen mitnimmt und sie Teil des Geschehens werden lässt. Das ist nur möglich mit Schauspieler*innen, Musiker*innen und einer Crew, die leidenschaftlich dabei sind.

All diese Leute versorgen und honorieren zu können, ist unser Hauptfokus.

Des Weiteren benötigen wir authentische Locations und qualitatives Equipment. Zwar verfügen wir über grundlegendes Equipment, dennoch streben wir hochwertigeres an, um unsere Vision noch besser in Schau zu stellen.

Solltet ihr nicht in der Lage sein, finanziell beizutragen, freuen wir uns dennoch über jegliche Form der Unterstützung.

Hey there, we are Huu Thien and Timur, both media students at Furtwangen University. Additionally, we're part of the 1.66 COLLECTIVE, where young media enthusiasts craft creative and authentic designed projects.

Our short film is being produced as part of our Bachelor's thesis. Both tasks require a lot of individual effort and time, which is why we rely on your support.

What's our film about?

It revolves around IREN, a young Turkish DJane, who is determined to advance her career but faces increasing conflicts within her already fragile family. Trapped in generational and cultural conflicts, she struggles for recognition of her unconventional path in life. It's a film aiming to depict contemporary sociocultural phenomena and provide insight into the modern Turkish migrant family.

Where will your support go?

We aim to create a gripping film that not only supports our thesis but also engages the audience and immerses them in the story. This is only possible with actors, musicians, and a crew who are passionate about the project. Our main focus is on supporting and compensating all these individuals.

Additionally, we need authentic locations and quality equipment. While we have basic equipment, we aim for higher quality to better showcase our vision.
