Ira Joseph Segreti was born on December 19, 2025, and from the very beginning, he has shown incredible strength. During my daughter-in-law’s pregnancy, doctors discovered that Ira had two congenital heart defects. His parents were able to hold him briefly before he was taken to the NICU, where he began his brave fight. Just this morning, Ira underwent his first procedure and, thankfully, he is currently stable. Soon, he will be transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital. iwhere he can receive the specialized care he needs to continue his journey. Ira is also a little brother, and his big sister is waiting for him to come home.

This fundraiser is to support Ira and his parents as they navigate the challenges ahead. The funds raised will help cover medical bills, travel expenses, and other costs that come with caring for a newborn with complex medical needs. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on Ira’s family and allow them to focus on what matters most—being there for Ira as he fights to get stronger each day.
