It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Iraj Hosseini, a devoted father, talented chef, and cherished friend. His warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Iraj was the cornerstone of his family, especially to his 19-year-old daughter, Kamilla, who was his pride and joy.

As Kamilla navigates this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to friends, family, and our community for support. Contributions will be used to cover funeral expenses, and to support Kamilla as she prepares to navigate life without her dad. ❤️‍ Your support will help Kamilla continue her education and cover expenses. Having Kamilla obtain a university education was a dream Iraj always championed with unwavering love and dedication.

Iraj was the proud owner of Royal Kabob Express, a beloved take out and catering restaurant that became a staple in the Kensington community. Through his incredible culinary talents and welcoming spirit, he created delicious Persian cuisine enjoyed by his numerous customers and friends. Royal Kabob Express wasn’t just a restaurant; it was a reflection of Iraj’s dedication to Persian cuisine bringing people together and making everyone feel like family. Iraj’s compassion extended beyond his business - he regularly provided free meals to the homeless, whom he considered his friends.

Your kindness and generosity will not only ease the financial burden during this challenging time, but also help ensure that Iraj's legacy lives on through the opportunities created for his daughter and the cherished memories he left behind in the Kensington community. December 26 2024, is the day I lost my father Iraj Hosseini. He was a beautiful man with a kind heart who would do anything for the people he loves. My heart is broken and all I know is that God is protecting him and that he is in a better place. He loved you all, and most important he loved his family. His smile was contagious, he was generous and had an amazing sense of humour. He cherished memories with people, it allowed him to continue on in life even though he was physically suffering. I know he will always be here watching over me and my family. He was the best father I could’ve ever asked for. I love you always and forever Bubba jon.
