Memorial Service and Celebration of Life

With great sadness, we announce that our beloved Irah was tragically taken from us on August 19th in a home invasion. She is survived by her loving husband, Mak, and her sweet 7-year-old son, Greyson. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to us all.

Many know Irah as an incredibly talented photographer. She specialized in maternity and newborn photography, capturing the love and joy of motherhood, new life, and family for her clients. In September 2019, Irah converted her garage into her home studio, allowing her to develop her craft even more. In January 2022, Irah accomplished her dream of opening up her studio, Irah Sok Images in Mill Creek, WA. Her photography has impacted so many throughout our community and we will forever cherish the memories she has given us.

This is a devastating and horrific incident, and we are completely shattered that our beautiful Irah is gone. We are grieving and deeply hurting with Mak, who now has to care for his son without his lifelong partner and love and little Greyson, who has lost his mother and best friend.

It takes a village to raise a family, and we hope to ease the burden of the new reality they now need to face. Please consider donating to help support this family in their time of need.
