Early this morning my Aunt Roxey received a call that her youngest son Ira had passed away. This is a call no mother should have to receive especially this time of year.

I'm starting this page to help raise funds for her to be able to have the funeral Ira deserves. Anyone who knew Ira knows he had a heart of gold. A pain in the ass most of the time but would give you the shirt off his back of you needed it. He was also an amazing father to his daughter Elaine and would do anything in this world to make sure she always had what she needed and a smile on her face.

As of now the most affordable option for a service is $4000. That's for transport and the service/cremation but Ira didn't want to be cremated. The cost for a burial is substantially higher.

Aunt Roxey works part time at McDonald's and is on disability living paycheck to paycheck making it nearly impossible for her to be able to honor Iras wishes and give him the burial he deserves.

I know times are hard on everyone right now, especially with it being the holidays, but if you are able to contribute anything towards helping us lay Ira to rest, it would mean more than you could ever imagine to Iras family during their time of grieving.

Everything raised will go to Aunt Roxey directly for the funeral and anything raised that is left over will be put aside for Elaine.
