Tom (aka Rocky) has been diagnosed with Advanced Pancreatic Cancer Stage 4. Tom is a Vietman Era Navy Veteran.
Tom and Paula Higgins have been together since 1993 and married in 1998. They have 2 beautiful identical twin sons, age 15, that are both amazing and both miracles. Paula worked for WEA (Warner/Elektra/Atlantic) for 20 years.
His wife, Paula has been taking care of him as best as she can. She has been dealing with this terrible disease right by his side, despite her disability due to Multiple Sclerosis. One of their son’s has also been disabled and home-bound for the last year suffering extreme anxiety from horrible school bullying.
Between medical bills and Tom unable to work since last summer, finances have been upside down for a while. It seems that everything may be coming to an end in the near future, including the place they call home.
Paula must take care of the bills and continue to take care of Tom in every way possible at home, hospital stays, doctors visits, daily treatments, and whatever can be done to fight this horrible disease.
She also needs to do what is needed to take care of their two sons and provide for them on every level possible, not just now, but for many years to come.
Please keep Tom, Paula and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Any help is appreciated to ease the pain and help them get through this as best as possible.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to help.
Bless you -
