Surgery and Rehab for Wil Peterson
Donation protected
On December 7, 2014,my sons life changed forever. He had helped a "friend" out by letting him room with him and his roommate. Shortly after moving in, the guy stopped working and was living off of the generosity of others. Wil was no longer able to support him and asked him to leave. About an hour later he returned with 4 other guys. They proceeded to break down a metal security door while Wil tried to hold the door closed, as his roommate called 911. They broke throu gh the door and proceeded to viscously attack Wil, beating him unconscious with the concentration of his injuries focused on his head. He has to go to Vanderbilt to see a surgeon for facial reconstruction and bone repair. While he was blessed not to have suffered any brain damage he has a long road to recovery a head of him. While we do have insurance we have a great deal of medical bills that have already accumulated in Michigan and we have not even begun the reconstructive surgery or the routine trips to Nashville for consultations, surgeries, occupational therapy, and ptsd treatment. In addition, he will be unable to work while all of this is going on. Any help that you would be willing to donate to include pray would be greatly appreciated by the family and Wil.
