Ipswich RFC was formed in 1870 and is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world that is still in existence. We celebrate our 150th anniversary in the season 2020/21 and aim to raise funds to leave a lasting legacy of improvements to our clubhouse, grounds and community for all members and our wider society to benefit from.
We have ambitious plans to raise £150,000 throughout our anniversary season which will allow us to achieve the following:
£6,000 provides a new changing room and new physio room, creating more space for our growing club
£15,000 provides a pitch irrigation system to keep our pitches watered and in top condition
£30,000 allows us to replace the ceiling and lighting throughout the club benefiting all members and guests
£75,000 allows us to provide floodlighting to another pitch, providing much needed additional evening training and match space
£150,000 provides the above plus further extensive clubhouse developments for more changing and leisure space.
We want to get cracking with these projects as soon as possible, so as soon as funds can be raised work will start on helping IRFC continue to provide the best in rugby experience for our community.
In addition to this, we will be donating 5% of all funds raised to the local East Anglian Air Ambulance charity to help them continue their fantastic work throughout the region.

All donations of £15 or more = your name added to our 150 Club web page of thanks.
We will be organising numerous fundraising events throughout the season to contribute to the 150 fund, but we would urge all members to help improve their club. If all members were able to achieve a personal fundraising total of £150 we would be over half way to our total!!!
Every member can raise money in numerous ways including organising sponsored events and challenges either individually or as a team.
