Ipswich 2 Wembley In Honour Of Billy Davies

Donation protected
Our beloved friend and family member, Billy, was a truly remarkable young man whose courage and strength inspired everyone who knew him. Before he gained his angel wings, Billy wanted to raise awareness about the importance of getting yourself checked out — no matter how small the issue might seem. Tragically, Billy passed away on his 19th birthday after a brave battle with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer.

Billy endured nine months of intense chemotherapy, six weeks of solid radiation, and two major surgeries to remove the cancer near his spine. These treatments meant he had to relearn basic tasks like walking, using his phone, and feeding himself. Despite everything, Billy’s spirit never broke. He lived by the quote: “God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.” His courage and determination showed everyone what true strength looks like.

Billy wasn’t just our friend — he was a very good friend, more like a brother to us, and we want to do everything we can to honor him. On behalf of his mum and family, me and my brother are planning to cycle from Ipswich to Wembley — a significant challenge — with every penny raised going directly to cover funeral expenses and support his loved ones. Funerals can be unexpectedly expensive, and we want to ensure Billy receives the send-off he deserves while easing the burden on his family.

Please consider donating to this fundraiser to honor Billy’s life, his bravery, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. Every contribution helps and is deeply appreciated by all who loved him.
