Welcome to iPromise Learning & Development Centre, a groundbreaking school that’s transforming the educational landscape in Gambia. We proudly serve children aged 2-12 with learning disabilities, offering a space where their unique potential can be nurtured in ways never seen before in the country. As the first of its kind in Gambia, we are more than just a school – we are a lifeline for families in need of specialised care and attention for their children.

Our journey began with just 10 students on day one. Within a week, that number grew to 18, with even more families reaching out. In the first week alone, we had 11 inquiries, but heartbreakingly, at least six families couldn’t afford the tuition, despite their desperate need for the services we provide. Every visit reminded us of the immense gap we are filling – a gap that, until now, has left too many children without the support they deserve.

We are a private school, fully self-funded, and our commitment to providing individualised education sets us apart. While typical schools may have one teacher for every 27 children, at iPromise, we maintain a ratio of 4-6 children per teacher. In a class of 15, there are 4 dedicated teachers, each focused on ensuring that no child is left behind. This personalised attention comes with a cost, which is why our fees are structured to maintain this high standard of care.

Yet, the challenge remains – how do we continue to provide this essential service for families who need it most but struggle to afford it? This is where our mission grows even stronger. At iPromise, we are not just building a school; we are building futures, and we need your support to ensure no child is turned away because of financial constraints.

How You Can Help:

We have set up various donation tiers to help cover the costs of providing this specialised education. Every contribution helps us continue to support these children and their families:

£50 – Helps provide essential classroom supplies for one child.
£100 – Contributes to the transportation fund, helping children reach the school safely.
£300 – Sponsors a child for one month, covering tuition and classroom materials.
£800 – Fully sponsors a child for an entire school year, ensuring they receive the education and care they need.
