Ipeleng Motuba: The Path to my Purpose

Greetings.

 

My name is Ipeleng Motuba. I am a law graduate from the University of Southern California, by way of my home country, South Africa. 

 

The NOW phase:

ONLY $5000 left to go! I am officially in the next phase of building my career as an international lawyer.  I am thrilled to share that I am applying to sit for the California Bar exam in July 2022. 

 

The Plan of Action:

 

With your help, I believe we can raise the remaining $5 000 by July 5th. All funds will be allocated towards the State of California Bar Association and an exam preparation course, through BarBri. ($2000 for the exam + $2500 for the preparation course + contingency funds for late fees starting at $250). 

 

The Excellence:

 

I have taken on a career in law because I stand by the rights of others and I have a deep affinity for reinventing the wheel. I am fierce in upholding my ethical duties as a legal practitioner, and I am the change I see in the world. This is the final step of an incomparable chapter in my life. I am grateful to you all for encouraging me to stay the course!

 

The Dream:

 

I have uncovered my ultimate purpose to reignite the art of human interaction. As I endure the final chapter of achieving my dream to become a licensed attorney in California, and as with any dream come true, this experience has been one filled with overcoming obstacles: financial, personal, and mental alike.  Most importantly, it has been one of consistent resilience and exercising my right to self-determination.

 

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my friends and family in South Africa and the world. It has been difficult exploring success alone but, I am grateful to everyone who has held my hand throughout this process. Your unwavering love is what keeps my passion alive. This is only the beginning.
