Breathe a new life for Doug - Lungs

Doug was diagnosed first with Asthma, then COPD then later with Emphesyma.   As his Diagnosis progressed ,  2 Lung Collapses later, his Health Care Provider agreed to refer him to the team at Toronto General Hospital.   Doug is a Family man, married with 3 sons.  He has given up working to stay home as he is not able to work at this time.  He once enjoyed watching his Goalie Son play, however; due to his health decompensating,  the Arena was no place for Doug any longer. No longer able to keep the pace of the Quality of life to spend time now with his children and wife, the Lung team in Toronto have assessed it is time to give the Gift of "Quality of Life" back to Doug and his Family.  Without a Double Lung Transplant- his present condition will afford him a life span of up to 5 years to live.   Since September, Doug has had another Partial lung collapse.   He is now on a Wait List for a donor.   Please help him and his family with the many trips he needs to make to Toronto for Physiotherapy to ensure his body is ready for the Surgery, Post Surgery and the pre and post care that will amount to costs of lodging, etc.,  required for his care.   His Spouse is very supportive and will be by his side along with his Children, family members and friends cheering him on.    The added costs have become a strain.  Any help is appreciated.  Please join us in coaching Doug along.
