Hi my name is Nicole. I am an ER & PACU nurse. Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, no visiting is allowed at the hospital. Unfortunately, patients cannot speak to their families or say their final goodbyes. This inspired me to start a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money to purchase iPads for the hospital so patients can speak to their family members. I know this is a very scary time for everyone but I feel this would help put patients at ease if they can FaceTime with their loved ones. The money raised will go directly to buying these iPads for the patients affected with COVID at LIJ. Any amount is appreciated as well as the donation of a used or new IPad.
