Iowa Cycling Officials Need Equipment

Hi, my name is Rose. And if you've been to an Iowa bicycle race in the past year, you may have seen me in a blue shirt. All USA Cycling sanctioned races are staffed by a wonderful group of officials and local bike club volunteers. As some of our officials retire and our equipment ages. We are in need of some new equipment. As a local team of bicycle race fans, our group of officials sometimes dive into our own pockets and spend our personal dollars to service the needs of races.

As a local rag-tag group, we are looking to purchase new lap counters,  mobile office equipment (printers, etc.), iPads, new uniforms for apprentices, and more.

The local community who has shown up for our athletes during 2021 was fantastic to get everyone back in the spirit of racing - after the many cancelations of 2020. We want to make 2022 the best season possible! We want the Iowa racing scene to reach for some technology that our group has not been able to afford.

Note: These funds are being raised separately from any local association assistance. The Iowa USA Cycling officials have had tremendous support from LAs, and we are eternally grateful. These extra funds will help road, crit, mountain, gravel, and cross races.
