What is this project?
Invisible Things is a film based off the one act play, Daniels written by Becca Hurd and produced by the Anselmian Abbey Players in 2015. The film follows the Daniels family as they discover the importance of living with your eyes open to the struggle of those around you.
What’s it about?
17 year old Kate Daniels is no stranger to the world of mental illness, but when the problems of her loved ones start to pile up on top of her own, she realizes that maybe they aren't the ones she should be worrying about.
What do you need my money for?
-Transportation
Gas aint cheap.
-Equipment rental
We have access to most of what we need, that keeps the cost down, but we need a bit more to make this happen effectively.
-Food
People are volunteering their time, so we’ve got to feed them at least. C’mon guys, it’s human decency.
-Insurance
We want to make sure people are safe. So production insurance is a must.
How do I know you won’t spend it on booze for the afterparty?
Trust us, we won’t. Your money will go toward vital expenses to ensure the film’s completion. See above.
How do I know this will actually get done?
When you have this much talent, effort, and dedication to a project, you bet it’ll happen.
How do I know you can work well together?
Almost every member of the cast and crew has worked with one of the directors previously. As for the directors, their work experience together spans back four years, both on stage and screen projects. The cast will include actors from the stage production, as well as carefully selected actors from many different states.
