Invisible Injuries - The Documentary - PTSD Awareness

Donation protected

"Invisible Injuries" follows Andy Fermo, a former Special Forces soldier, as he battles PTSD and advocates for veterans' mental health. The documentary showcases Andy and his wife Claire's transformation from personal struggle to national advocacy through starting their charity “Invisible Injuries”, highlighting their mission to support those suffering from invisible injuries through holistic practices, ensuring no one faces these challenges alone.

The documentary "Invisible Injuries" aims to shed light on PTSD, depression, isolation & more challenges faced by veterans in our communities globally, providing a platform to discuss the challenges faced by veterans and showcasing a pathway to better quality of life by veterans who have walked the path. By bringing these topics to the forefront through compelling visual storytelling, our documentary seeks to foster a deeper understanding and generate a sense of belonging and purpose for the veteran community globally. Such an initiative is crucial at a time when these issues continue to affect a significant number of individuals within the military and veteran populations.

HELP US MAKE THIS HAPPEN: The money raised through this first fundraiser will allow us to cover costs that aren't received in-kind, such as location hire, film crew labour expenses and additional equipment rental for the interview components of this documentary.

Double Shot Creative Studios has kindly funded flights for the film crew to travel to The Netherlands, as well as camera and lighting equipment free of charge and discounted rates for crew. Our in-kind support stretches from catering to assistance with re-enactments and beyond.

We have completed the first interview with Andy Fermo. Up next is the second interview with Andy, as well as his wife Claire Fermo. On the 28th of October, the crew travels to The Netherlands to interview retired generals Mart De Kruif and Peter Van Uhm.

Please help us bring this vision to the big screen. Any donation helps us get closer to our goal and make the quality of this production the highest it can possibly be!
