Invictus Challenge - Soldier On

On November 11th, we will be hosting the"Invictus Challenge" in partnership with Soldier On , in memory of Pte. Josh Almeida, brother of one of our team members.  The community of Conestoga College will have the opportunity to participate in various challenges in order to further understand the burden of a soldier and the sacrifices that they make.  The Invictus Challenge will host guests from Soldier On as well as Soldiers who are actively serving. (Event is open to Faculty and Students of Conestoga College).

"Pte. Josh Almeida was not a person that could simply be summed up in a sentence. He was complex yet kind, strong yet reserved and a man that embodied what it meant to be a soldier. Josh was involved in a car accident on March 8th 2019 and passed on the following day. Although the weight of this tragedy will never truly leave us, we continue to carry on his legacy of bravery, strength and the honor of a warrior. Josh believed in courage in the face of adversity, which is why we have teamed up with Soldier On to honor his legacy through the Invictus Challenge."
