Hello, my name is Clarence McDuffie III. I am sixteen years old and I have been studying music and playing the trumpet since the age of four. I have had so many incredible opportunities such as being privately trained with some of the best trumpeters such as Fernando Pullum, Gilbert Castellanos, Bill Caballero and Derreck Cannon (to name a few). In addition to the private training, I am currently a part of The Young Lions Jazz Conservatory in an ensemble and big band, The Fernando Pullum Community Art Center, and a Jazz Major at The School of Creative and Performing Arts. These amazing programs have provided incredible opportunities to play on stage and private events with artists such as John Mayor, Kamasi Washington, and Earth Wind and Fire.

This summer I have the opportunity to participate in a four week program to study music and develop my skills at the highest level. I will have an opportunity to explore an array of musical genre that reflects our multi-cultural society. With your support, I am faithful to meet the financial goal that will support my attendance.
