Dr. Elisabeth (Liz) Kuper is a family medicine physician in Boise, Idaho, who was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2020. Over the past six years, Liz has valiantly endured multiple rounds and modalities of treatments. Throughout all of this, she has continued to deliver exemplary care to her primary care patients in Boise, while being a loving and devoted mom to Hannah (10) and Nate (8) and an amazing wife to her husband, Joe Reitan. Unfortunately, over the past month, Liz has had significant progression in her disease and is now transitioning to hospice.

We are Liz's friends from medical school (WUSTL class of 2007), and we have watched in awe as she has handled this formidable challenge with humor, grace, love, and the generosity of spirit that we have known so well. We are creating this fundraiser to help support Joe and the kids through this turbulent time with the hope that this will be a substantial investment in their future.
