Investing in Life: Support a Medical Student

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rofaida AlHaw. I am a 4th-year medical student from Gaza, Palestine.

I created this fundraising campaign to support myself and my colleagues in paying our university tuition fees so we can continue our education and complete our medical and nursing degrees.

The individuals we are raising funds for are:

* Rofaida AlHaw (myself), medical student, Gaza
* Eman Hamoda, medical student, Gaza
* Abdullah Khader, medical student, Gaza
* Manare Redwan, medical student, Gaza
* Maram AlHaw, nursing student, Gaza (my sister)

We are all currently located in Gaza, and we are directly affected by the ongoing crisis. I personally know each of the beneficiaries, as they are my colleagues and family.

The funds raised will be used strictly for paying university tuition fees only. No funds will be used for any other purpose.

Due to the current situation in Gaza, I am unable to receive international transfers directly. Therefore, the funds will be sent to my brother, who lives in Belgium and holds a bank account there. He will then transfer the funds to me in Gaza through available financial channels.

Our goal is to continue our education and graduate as healthcare professionals so we can serve our community in the future.

Thank you for your support and for helping us continue our education during this difficult time.

Gaza Needs Doctors. Help Us Keep Them in School.

"I used to study how to save lives. Now I am fighting just to save my own future."
— Rofaida AlHaw, 4th-year medical student, Gaza

The Mission

Gaza's healthcare system has been shattered. Hospitals destroyed. Doctors lost. A generation of patients with no one left to treat them. But in the middle of this destruction, six young people are still fighting — not with weapons, but with textbooks, stethoscopes, and an unbreakable will to finish what they started. We are raising funds to keep them in school. Because Gaza will need doctors to rebuild. And these are the people who will do it.

Meet The five
Rofaida AlHaw | Medicine, Year 4 | €9,600 Rofaida lost her home to rubble and her brother to the war. Today she studies from a tent. She volunteered in overwhelmed hospitals — stitching wounds and comforting the dying — while surviving the same war her patients were casualties of. She is two years from graduating. A debt of €9,600 stands between her and her degree. "War took my home and my brother. Please don't let it take my education."
Eman Hamoda | Medicine | £9,700 | Graduates 2027
Abdullah Khader | Medicine | £8,307 | Graduates 2027
Manare Redwan | Medicine | £8,800 | Graduates 2027
Maram Alhaw | Nursing | £5,700 | Graduates 2026

What Your Money Does

€9,600 gives Rofaida her white coat

Why It Matters Gaza

had one of the most educated populations in the Arab world. That cannot be allowed to disappear. Every student we fund is not just one person — they are a clinic, a ward, a generation of patients who will finally have someone to turn to. Donate. Share. Don't let the war finish what it started.
