INSPIRE, a Milwaukee-based dance collective, is a call to the underfed creative minds and bodies living in the Midwest. Built on the passion of a little girl’s dream to be on stage, INSPIRE is a commitment to preserving Black and Brown performance art in Milwaukee and strengthening the pipeline for Black and Brown creatives in the Midwest.
As a tribute to my dream, our bodies, and every beautiful dancer, INSPIRE preserves the stories and dreams of Black and Brown Arts Educators, former Dancers, Creatives, and the like who have invested in the unique arts experiences of Milwaukee children and young adults. Through INSPIRE, we pay homage to the arts professionals and investors who have given light and inspiration to our ever-evolving creative journeys.
INSPIRE Season 1, presents fusion-based professional performances and instruction that will promote excellence and diversity in the field of dance. This collective represents dancers from all backgrounds and will motivate, inspire, and connect dancers across the Midwest.

To kick off Season 1, and ensure we bring the community a quality production, we have a fundraising goal of $7,000.00. We need YOUR investment and support to bring this dream to life!
Here’s what your investment covers:
- Equitable Pay for Black & Brown Performance Artists, ensuring Independent Artists are valued, respected, and supported.
- Discounted School Performances, ensuring young Black & Brown children are exposed to quality, relatable Art.
- Professional venues for rehearsals and performances, introducing new audiences to industry-standard arts experiences.
- General Operating costs including but not limited to, general liability insurance coverage, ticketing fees, music licensing, and marketing.

In-School Presentations | February 2025
In partnership with Danceworks, Inc., In-School Presentations will serve as a community effort to foster culturally positive conversation through the lens of dance.
Pre-Professional/ Professional Dance Workshop (Advanced) | March 2025
A day of dance for pre-professionals and professionals to explore a cross-genre dance experience with Wisconsin-based dance professionals.
Season 2 Audition | March 2025
The audition will be paired with the Advanced Pre-Professional/Professional Dance Workshop to scout and further develop Milwaukee's pipeline of Black and Brown dance artists.
