Why I Care and Why I am Raising Support

For those of you who may not know, I am now working in education. After years in nonprofit work and serving on mission trips, I made a change rooted in purpose. I joined Clairton City School District, where I’ve taken on three major initiatives:

• Reviving and improving the Shop Program

• The BotsIQ Robotics team

• Supporting and helping plan Prom to give students a positive and meaningful celebration

These initiatives are more than programs. They are opportunities to offer students belonging, confidence, hands on learning, mentorship, and hope. I want to continue investing in this community and strengthening the foundation that existed before me. These students deserve not only a chance at a brighter future, but support right now, exactly where they are.

This fundraiser will help continue the work: creating safe and inspiring learning spaces, expanding robotics opportunities, and giving students experiences that remind them they matter.
