I’m creating this fund for someone who has quietly carried more than most people ever see.
He is an English teacher, a poet, and a musician—someone who has dedicated his life to education, creativity, and showing up for others, even when life has not shown up for him in the same way.
After losing both of his parents at a young age, he has had to navigate adulthood without a safety net. Despite this, he continues to work tirelessly across multiple schools, often in environments that do not treat him with the care or respect he deserves.
He shows up anyway.
He teaches anyway.
He gives to others anyway.
But the weight of it has been heavy.
Right now, he is working nonstop just to afford basic necessities—groceries, clothing, and daily living—while also carrying anxiety and depression that have only intensified under the pressure of his work.
Outside of teaching, he is an incredibly talented musician. Music is one of the few places where he feels fully himself. It’s also something deeply connected to his father—something they shared, something that still keeps that bond alive.
This fund is meant to give him breathing room:
• to afford basic necessities without constant stress
• to replace worn clothing
• to access better food and care for himself
• to invest in music again—whether that’s instruments, lessons, or time to create
Most importantly, it’s meant to remind him that he is not alone.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is a way of saying:
you deserve support too.
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you for being part of showing up for someone who has spent his life showing up for others.
