Friends and family!!! I am overjoyed to share that I’m stepping into a 5.5 month Bible School of the Nations (BSN) course designed to build a strong Biblical foundation and deepen my relationship with God. Through studying the Bible chronologically, I’ll gain a clearer understanding of His character, His plans throughout history, and how His Word applies to both my life and the world around me. I’ll also be trained in practical tools to study Scripture, understand difficult passages, and confidently teach and share God’s Word with others. 2 out of the 5.5 months, I’ll be equipping and discipling communities with limited access to Biblical training and sharing the love of Christ!!!

But more than anything, this season is about following the calling Christ has placed on my life.

During my DTS, I felt God clearly leading me toward a future in trauma therapy. As I started looking into colleges, nothing aligned, and I felt a growing uneasiness. When I brought this to the Lord, He gently asked me to wait and trust Him with my next steps. In that waiting, He made it clear that before stepping into a career of helping others heal, He wanted to deepen my own healing and root me firmly in His truth, character, and love.

At the same time, God kept highlighting “New Zealand” everywhere I turned, in conversations, in prayer, even in the books I was reading. When my DTS leaders shared about BSN, I felt a strong, unexpected desire to attend. When I looked up BSN on YWAM’s website, this school was the first to pop up and I immediately felt peace, excitement, and confirmation that everything He had been showing me was connected.

Soon after, God gave me a vision of a very specific image. Later, when I looked up photos of NZ's base, the scenery matched EXACTLY what I had seen in my vision!!! I was overwhelmed with joy, laughing and filled with excitement at the thought of going! Even when faced with other incredible opportunities, God reminded me of Nehemiah, who left comfort and security to follow where the Lord was leading. I knew He was asking me to do the same.

My heart in this is simple: to spend intentional time with God, growing in our relationship and deeply understanding His Word before pursuing a career in trauma therapy. I believe this foundation is essential, not only for my future career but to continue to be shaped in the woman of God He’s calling me to be.

While the total cost feels daunting, God has already been so faithful! He has promised to provide every penny and continues to remind me that He is my good Father, and good fathers provide for their children. Praise Jesus!!!
