Help Josh Make a Difference
Hey!
Firstly, thanks for checking out my page! My name is Josh Noseworthy. I'm a conservation biologist working in Atlantic Canada (that's on the east coast) for a non-profit charity.
I'm very excited to share that I've been accepted to the University of Cambridge for a 1-year graduate degree in Conservation Leadership. This is a dream come true for me, and if I can raise the funds in time, I'll start classes on October 1, 2016.
As you have probably guessed already, funding is why I'm on here. Education isn't cheap, and the nature of working for an environmental non-profit (pun intended), means that it can be difficult to save money. The total cost is somewhere around $72,000 Canadian, and without some help, there's just no way I could raise this much cash.
Conserving wildlife and natural spaces is more than just a career for me. It's my passion, and I intend to use this prestigious degree to do great things for the planet. The knowledge and skills I'll gain will translate into real conservation. This means protecting the awesome diversity of wildlife that we share the planet with, empowering communities, and providing economic opportunities for those who need it most. That's my committment to you.
Conservation is just as much about helping people as it is wildlife, and I'm a firm believer that investing in nature is how we'll create a sustainable world for everyone.
Will you help me make a difference?
Thanks so much for your time, and hopefully, your charitable contribution!
