My name is Elizabeth Awokoya, a driven and determined young woman from Nigeria. Since childhood, I harbored a dream of pursuing higher education in the United States and making a positive impact on the world. That dream became a reality when I was accepted to Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, a historic HBCU, to major in Biochemistry.

With limited financial resources in my family, my parents made incredible sacrifices to support my first year of college. However, the rapidly deteriorating economic situation in Nigeria has made it impossible for them to continue providing the necessary funds.

Despite facing immense challenges, I have worked tirelessly to maintain my academic standing. I joined the Student Government organization, the African Student Association, and the Lincoln University Spiritual Life. I've secured a scholarship through the school's concert choir and taken on an on-campus job to help cover expenses. However, I still find myself facing a daunting $5,000 balance and the looming threat of losing my student status.

I am passionate about becoming a pediatric nurse and making a difference in the lives of children. With your support, I can overcome these financial hurdles and continue my education. Every dollar donated brings me closer to realizing my dream.
