Help Secure TASWIRA's Future in Pioneer Square
Donation protected
I’m Avery Barnes, founder and curator of TASWIRA gallery. TASWIRA is a contemporary art gallery in Seattle, WA that exhibits and sells works of art from the African diaspora. Over the past two years, TASWIRA has uplifted countless artists, helping them gain visibility and success. We've hosted numerous successful exhibitions and built a supportive community in Pioneer Square.
After two and a half years of serving the community, our lease has ended and we’ve moved out of our founding location as of September 1st. The good news is…We're staying in Pioneer Square and we've found the perfect new home for TASWIRA. We’ll begin renovations in October and re-launch the gallery in November.
We really need your help, immediately, to make this transition possible. We’re aiming to raise $100,000 by the end of 2024 with the first $50,000 raised in the next 6 weeks. I'm asking 1,000 supporters to donate $50 each.
But truly, every contribution, even $10, matters and brings us closer to our goal. We’ll have a special gift for every one who gives $25 or more!
