Invest in my Singing Career

Hi everyone!

I'm Jami Trausi, also known as Morgan Sky on my social media pages. I'm here to tell my story, and leave this as an option for others to help support my dreams. I'm a singer, songwriter, slowly gaining an audience, and following through Tiktok. Since a video I posted back in May of 2023. I've began accumulating some viewers. With dreams to have music be my (one day) full time career. It's difficult to financially begin the process. To purchase equipment, pay for studio time. Or fund traveling that could arise with business needs. And, of course, bills. Because at the end of the day. Keeping what you have, is first. Being able to do this, while investing in a dream. Is another thing completely.

I'm legally blind, born with a genetic condition called Albinism. Because of this, it's a challenge to find a job. I've faced discrimination, judgement, and a lack of chance. Currently, for the past year, I have not worked. One big reason, being, Hurricane Ian. The category 5 storm made direct impact to my city on 9/28/2022. Destroying a lot of the area, rendering many homeless, or with substantial damages to their homes. As a victim myself, it's been extra tough, building, and rebounding back from the tragedy. Barely making it by with bills, and other necessary needs to survive. The hurricane was a huge set back. A nightmare for anyone. It's been a hardship I don't wish upon a single person.

I post online as a hobby, hoping to share my voice with others. Music, to me, is an outlet. A way to emotionally connect, and allow my emotions to be freed. As I have always had a hard time socially sharing, and expressing myself. Due to relentless bullying growing up. People have always been quick to judge who I am. Because of my low eye sight, and my appearance. Being called names, pushed aside, picked on. I've seen the evil side of people. Causing myself, in my adolescent years, to close myself off. Become an introvert. I turned to music, and writing. Aiding me tremendously through that era of my life. I have notebooks full of lyrics, waiting to come to life. I can hear it all in my head. Yet, have no way to actually convert them into applicable and mastered tracks.

It's always been a huge dream of mine. Something I've always held hope to. Aspiring to one day get the opportunity to really start my path. I know it will take a lot of work. Dedication, and, as any goal. Money. I've never been one to ask for handouts. Keeping a sense of humble pride. Independence. People have always treated me, in the past. That I'm unable to succeed due to my limitations and disabilities. I've never allowed that within myself. Knowing that I am capable. I want to stand up for those with challenges. To relate to others. Lend a helping hand through my music. At a time when someone feels alone, it can help get them through the day. One person at a time. If I can help, it is a huge accomplishment. From self experience. Music has saved me from times when I was at my lowest.

I'm creating this fund page, for my music and bill related purposes only. All income and donations earned will go towards that. I don't expect to get much. I've just set a random amount for now. Anything is greatly appreciated. So thank you. For being a fan. For supporting me. For believing in me. But most of all, for following along through my journey. Hopefully one that is just beginning.
