Invest in got robot?, FTC #5037
Donation protected
We are really excited to announce that got robot? , FTC team 5037, has qualified for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, to be held in St. Louis, Apr. 25th to 29th, 2017
.
We are asking if you could join with us in raising the funds necessary to get our team of 9 students, their coaches and mentors, to St. Louis for the exciting 5 day event, with teams competing from all over the world.
got robot? is a 'FIRST' robotics team, started several years ago in Elgin, IL. This is our Third Advancement to the World Championship in the last 5 years. All of our mentors, coaches and parents volunteer their time, money and efforts to invest in these hard working students. Because of the costs associated with a world event, we also need your help to make this a successful trip. Our event is only 3 weeks away so please consider soon!
FTC stands for 'First Tech Challenge' and is a division of FIRST robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The goal of FIRST is to inspire students by creating complex robots to play a new game each year. There are many challenges in doing this, and the team has to work extremely hard to get to this level, and in doing so learns many valuable lessons about teamwork, endurance, problem solving, and, of course, science and technology.
If you can help us with a donation of any size ($10, $25,$50), that would be greatly appreciated. Donations given through gofundme are not tax deductible . If you want to give a tax deductible sponsorship of $250 or more, please contact us via our Facebook page for the procedure. Business sponsorships and recognition is encouraged!
Thanks so much for anything you can do.
