I am currently a college student pursuing my degree in the arts with a strong focus on photography, and having the proper equipment is not a luxury for me — it is a requirement to succeed in my courses. My program expects me to shoot in manual mode, work in RAW format, control lighting, and produce professional-level images for assignments and critiques. The equipment shown here — an interchangeable-lens camera, multiple lenses, tripod, wireless remote, and lighting kit — is exactly what my coursework requires. Without these tools, I am limited in what I can practice, submit, and ultimately learn.
