We are coming together to support Amaru Daniels as he prepares for the most pivotal transition of his life. Amaru is a young man of exceptional drive and character, and as of today, he has reached a massive milestone: he is officially less than 40 days away from his High School graduation!

While he prepares to walk the stage this May, he is also facing one of the most exciting (and difficult) choices a student can make. Amaru has earned an incredible 25 college acceptances from across the country, but with that success comes a significant financial reality.

The Cost of the Dream

Navigating the road to a degree in 2026 means facing historic costs. For the upcoming academic year, the average total cost of attendance (tuition, room, board, and fees) is:

· Public Universities (In-State): ~$27,000 – $31,000 per year.

· Public Universities (Out-of-State): ~$45,000 – $52,000 per year.

· Private Universities: ~$60,000 – $66,000+ per year.

While Amaru has earned several merit scholarships, there is still a significant "gap" to cover for his first year. Because we want him to start this journey on solid footing, we have adjusted our goal to $35,000. This amount will directly bridge the gap for his tuition, housing, and textbooks, ensuring he can focus on his studies rather than financial stress.

25 Choices, One Future

From the elite marching band traditions of HBCUs to the innovative business programs at schools like Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and The University of Alabama, Amaru has built an "Elite 25" list.

Important Note: While the offers are on the table, Amaru has not yet made his final decision. He is currently evaluating financial aid packages, campus cultures, and program specifics to find the absolute best fit for his ADHD needs and his career goals.
