Hi!

My name is Alyssa. I am a 6th grader that attends Ceiba College Preparatory Academy in Watsonville, CA.

I have been selected to represent my school and the state of California in the National Invention Convention with my award winning invention, the Safe-Ped, which will be held on June 7th-9th in Dearborn, Michigan.

I designed the Safe-Ped to help pedestrians cross busy roads safely by the use of my design.

Having the opportunity to showcase my invention and meet other inventors my age will be a memorable experience I will never forget.

Funds I will raise will go towards airfare to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, where the National Invention Convention will be held, cover registration fees for my parents to attend, and the 3-day hotel stay during the event.
