“Acting is living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” Eastside Actors' Lab is tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization whose group of actors seek to unearth the riches buried within this seemingly simple observation. Funds from donors will help creatives living and working east of Seattle discover performance, storytelling, and acting's hidden treasures.

Eastside Actors’ Lab’s mission is to combine actor training with performance to tell arresting stories that reawaken audiences to the power of human connection and the imagination. Eastside Actors’ Lab trains actors to discover their own specific, emotionally evocative point of view on personally urgent subjects.
Eastside Actors’ Lab, in furtherance of its mission, provides free training to the under-served community of actors living east of Seattle (Kirkland, Bothell, Woodinville, Kenmore, Redmond, etc.). The Lab has an active Board of Directors, and believes that a diverse collection of actors of all gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, and cultural background will promote a rich artistic integrity for the community’s benefit.
The legendary acting instructor Sanford Meisner encouraged aspiring actors to discover in themselves those human things which are universal. The Lab believes a need for professional artistic theater is a universal need if a community is to thrive. We ask that you be part of that universal need for storytelling and performance with a generous, much appreciated contribution to the Eastside Actors' Lab.
