Invasive Melanoma Removal and Facial Reconstructive Surgery

Donation protected
DONOR REQUESTED UPDATE: I have received multiple messages from some of my very close friends and family that are confused when entering a donation amount.
This fundraiser is in MX pesos. It is not in US dollars.
If making donations from a US bank, you will need to convert the US dollar amount you are wanting to donate into MX pesos so you can enter that amount.
The easiest way to convert your USD into pesos without a calculator is to take the total in USD and multiply that by 20.
For Example:
$20usd = $400 MX pesos
$50usd = $1,000 MX pesos
$100usd = $2,000 MX pesos

Being such a private person, posting this very personal issue was definitely not easy for me.

As difficult as it is for me to speak out of my comfort zone, I am reaching out to share a very personal challenge and kindly ask for support. Putting my pride to the side, I started a fundraiser on GoFundMe.

As difficult as this was to share with everyone, here's my story...

As some already know, I've been battling skin cancer over the last few years. I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive Melanoma at the end of 2022. I underwent my first surgical removal in December of 2022. I had my second surgical procedure, which was a much more aggressive surgical procedure in 2023.

Unfortunately, the last surgery was not as successful as we all hoped. The cancer has returned, but this time much more aggressive and much larger than it was originally.

With private health insurance not covering my diagnosis and the public hospital not having a current Surgical oncology on staff anymore, the cost for all of my medical exams, testing and surgery will need to be out of pocket.

I'm blessed to have had very generous donations that will cover my PETscan and travel expenses, since this very important test is not available here in the Baja.

If my scan comes back clean and the cancer has not metastasized to my lymph nodes, I will be able to have the removal of my tumor and have a skin graft to repair the right side of my face....
If it has metastasized, unfortunately I will need to undergo a major surgery to have lymph nodes removed from my body. I will not be able to have the facial tumor removal until we know that the rest of my body is clean.

After the surgical removal of my tumor on my face and the graft is set, I will need to undergo immunotherapy for the next 1.5-2 years.

Although this is a very scary situation, It's relieving to know that this costly therapy will be covered by my insurance here. I will be able to continue to fight my battle without having the stress of not knowing if I can afford to continue the treatments I will need to stop this from returning again.

I am humbly asking for donations to help cover my medical expenses. Your support would provide not just financial relief but also encouragement to me during this difficult time. ️
