Invasive breast cancer at 36

I can ask why now or why me but there's no use. All I can do is be positive while being humble and seeking support in all forms, to include financial. I am a 36yr old disabled veteran and surgical tech, so while I've had many surgeries, I'm used to helping others heal primarily. I'm a BRCA1 carrier so a cancer diagnosis is not completely unexpected and while cancer never discriminates nor has good timing, right now is especially tough for me due to current job and medical insurance changes. I've been working hard as a travel surgical tech, trying to pay off debts quicker and rebuild my savings. The downside is the medical insurance from my travel agency has very basic coverage and the current contract ends in 1wk anyway. I had recently been hired for an awesome perm position at a university hospital with great pay and benefits, only 1hr from my mom, who previously had breast cancer and currently has a form of leukemia and non-hodgkins lymphoma. However, that start date will be delayed, hopefully, instead of cancelled. They are being compassionate and trying to find a solution to help me and them both but unsure at the moment of what the final decision will be. I am also asking about extending my current contract but with part time or per diem hours to allow for surgical follow up appointments as well as chemo treatments and rest days. I have been driving for Lyft since May to further work toward my financial goals. I will continue to drive on my days I feel good from chemo. Additionally, I am researching various organizations that assist cancer patients during their active treatment phases but they take time and don't help with everything. Between two surgeries for this small but invasive, triple negative tumor, testing/diagnostic appointments, pre and post-op appointments, chemo, missing work already in prep for the 1st of two surgeries in 1wk and everything to come, I pray that many of you will show love, compassion, empathy and kindness to me during this time. Those of you who know me, know that I give when I have, to various people and causes, and try to work hard for my goals and not depend on others. But I need your help now and am not ashamed to ask for it, believing in the goodness of others, regardless of things going on in the world today. My requested total won't even cover nearly all of it as chemo alone is approx $9000 each time. Therefore, I ask that you please donate if possible and share with others.
