Help Dražen Get Back on His Feet – With a Car That Works

Our dear friend Dražen has been through more than most of us can imagine. Before the age of forty, he lost both of his legs, but despite this enormous challenge, he has never given up on life.

Right now, Dražen’s situation is critical. His car – his only way to move around, stay independent, and try to earn some extra income – has broken down. Without it, he is stuck at home, unable to get around, and his small disability pension barely covers rent, leaving almost nothing for daily needs.

Dražen is a proud, hardworking man who has always tried to take care of himself. What he needs most is a working vehicle adapted to his needs so he can stay mobile, regain independence, and have a fair chance at improving his life.

That’s where we come in.

We are asking friends, kind strangers, and anyone moved by his story to help us raise funds to:

• Repair his current car or, if necessary, buy a reliable used vehicle

• Cover adaptation costs to make the car accessible

• Ensure Dražen can continue to live with dignity and independence

Hallo ich bin der Dado. Bin 37 Jahre alt. Habe 09/2022 mein rechtes Bein wegen einer Blutvergiftung verloren und 07/2025 dann auch das linke Bein. Weil ich ein Blutgerinnsel hatte, dass durch die damalige Vergiftung gewandert ist und mir die Arterien verstopft hatte. Ich habe nun leider auch meinen Arbeitsplatz verloren und bin leider auch ohne Auto. Ich möchte mir von dem gesammelten Geldern einen Wagen kaufen, der mir leichtes ein und aussteigen gewährt und auch platz hat meinen Rollstuhl und weitere wichtige Dinge für meine Beine zu transportieren. Und mir somit die Chance zu erweitern auch wieder arbeiten zu können.

Pozdrav, ja sam Dado. Imam 37 godina. Desnu nogu sam izgubio u rujnu 2022. zbog trovanja krvi, a zatim lijevu u srpnju 2025. Jer sam imao krvni ugrušak koji se zbog trovanja proširio i začepio mi arterije. Nažalost, sada sam izgubio posao i bez automobila. Želio bih sav novac koji imam iskoristiti za kupnju automobila koji će mi omogućiti lak ulazak i izlazak iz automobila, a također će imati mjesta za prijevoz invalidskih kolica i drugih važnih stvari za moje noge. To mi daje priliku da se vratim na posao.
