Self Titled Album & Release Tour

Well Folks, we meet again, by way of modern day technology. Change is in the breeze for Intuitive Compass, we don’t know whats in store for our distant future, We have an amazing tour lined up from May through August, were not going to say that this is our last tour, but lets just say next year is looking unpredictable. Our little boy is on his way up in the world and we know we need to root down more than we have thus far. With the help from dedicated fans, Friends and perfect strangers, we managed to raise $1500 for a new tour bus engine last year, it took just under 13 months to find the right one for $1600 ( and thats a remarkably good price I might add)!   Thank You All So Much, we couldn't have done it without you!

The saga continues from here, please read our full story to hear more.   Suffice it to say that we are reaching out again and we really need everyone who believes in the Intuitive Compass to consider chipping in, and spreading the word! Time is of the essence, manny hands make light work! If 4,000 people donated $2, we would be able to over fund our goal and bring ON the best yet Intuitive Compass tour!  Though we have chosen a fundraising platform that dose not limit the time of the campaign, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!  We will be aiming to record on April 24th!

So, we are aiming at $7,000 as our goal. With $7,000 we could Get Delia, our beloved tour bus out of Purgatory (the finished side of the mechanics yard), reregister & insure her in time for this tour. We could also cover the cost of recording our long awaited SELF TITLED ALBUM at Pacifica with Dennis Dragon and hire Heartsian Prodouctions to film a professional video in the studio. We are hoping to OVERFUND! We are praying for $7,500-$8,000, if we had this capitol to work with, we could record that Self Titled album and Release it on our Self Titled West Coast Tour witch will span from The San Francisco Bay to Alaska! So with out further ado, we ask you to look in your spare change jar, dig in your pockets, tell your friends, tell strangers, tell any and all art loving philanthropists you know of, that Intuitive Compass is alive, and we could sure use a drop in our bucket. Thanks for coming this far!

Continued story:
Well we bought the engine, lined up the mechanic, and set the date. It was January 27th, then things took a turn for the worst, or as they say, Murphy’s law took hold… Turns out the wrong engine had been ordered and the bus would certainly not be running until mid February at the earliest… well we had to go south to sell trade beads and treasure for our dear friend Leo Hakola and we were already late so we packed up our trusty Subaru Beasty (who had certainly seen better days) and headed south sadly leaving our bus Delia behind…After having a slew of intermittentant and hard to track down mechanical troubles and failures, we ended up stranded in Mojave California for 3 days, were talking, desert……barren….. one grocery store……. gas station…….. Motel 6…….. Meth…… thats about it, well needless to say we couldn’t camp, (a Subaru is great but not accommodating in such a situation). About 90 hours and at least a few miracles and lightened pockets later we finally departed Lovely Mojave California in Beasty who’s ignition would no longer shut off the engine….Rode HOT all the way down to Phoenix Arizona where she took her final gulp of oil only to explode 10 minutes later. Two toes (120 miles) and several hours later we made our destination.

So, we’d missed all but two days of work, spent our repair money and were feeling the way you feel when, well everything around you seems to be crumbling and asking ourselves, are we really going on tour in a mere three months? Are we Crazy? Should we give up? How dose one give up? Obviously thats out of the question and so is going on tour without the bus!…………………………
So we sold Beasty, bought Violet (1984 Volvo), shot north and landed in the beautiful State of Jefferson 24 hours later.

We are now in the process of moving out of our headquarters (an old Stagestop house) and putting things in storage to prepare for the next season of touring, we were slated to record at Pacifica  in April but with all the unexpected financial challenges we are unable to afford it just yet.  We recently Recorded Jasons FIRST OFFICIAL SOLO ALBUM and are still paying it off.  Look forward to its release (date TBA)!  We have also been compiling footage from shows for the past year in order to release some videos for those of you who would like to see what we've been up to.  We launched the new and improved website www.intuitive-compass.com  in January and are working to keep up with the demands of modern day social media.  Thanks again to everyone who has helped in the past by spreading the word, sharing with friends, donating to our past efforts, comming out to shows, buying albums and just listening to our music!  We believe wholeheartedly in pursuing your highest calling in this world and your efforts make things possible that otherwise would not happen.  Cheers!
