Kelsey-Michelle O'Shaughnessy is a final year marine biology student at Newquay University. Alongside her studies, she volunteers in marine conservation, works as a Sea Life Safari Guide in Padstow, and pursues her passions for free diving and sharks. Incorporating her own GoPro footage, this poetic documentary offers an intimate glimpse into a young woman deeply connected to the ocean.
All filming will take place in the Newquay area and we have chosen to collaborate with local businesses. To ensure this film has minimal impact on the environment, our crew members and subject will be car sharing.
Your kind donation will go towards filming costs, which we are deliberately keeping to a minimum. Expenses will include nominal location fees, transport and refreshments. Anything left over will go towards festival entries.
Filming starts on Sunday 22nd February and continues into March, for a further two days. Editing will take place in early April.
Thank you for supporting this project!
