Well, I am officially freaking out and really need your help! You all know that I am not one to ask for anything ever, but my beautiful baby Mabel needs immediate surgery if she is to ever to walk again. She went from being perfect to not being able to walk… in an instant. I watched in horror as we went walking outside and then the next second she couldn’t stand, walk, and could barely move. She was dragging her hind legs and in pain. I rushed her to the hospital, sobbing uncontrollably, hoping she would be ok. Mabel has been diagnosed with Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) and needs surgery tonight! With surgery within the first 24 hours, there is a 90% success rate and Mabel will be able to walk again!

The estimate for this surgery ranges from $11,000 - $13,000. I’ll be honest, I do not have that kind of money and struggled with the decision for just a moment when I saw the estimate. But, then I looked at my Mabel and couldn’t imagine telling her that I’m sorry I can’t afford to help you. That deciding moment lasted only a few seconds and I will do everything possible to raise the money to help my baby walk again!
