Hi!

In 2023, I spent time in a remote village, Sassamunga, on Choiseul Island, Solomon Islands, as part of my studies at the University of Queensland, along with 11 other students and three scholars. Whilst spending time with the wonderfully hospitable people of Sassamunga, our group visited the local Community High School, providing quality education to the children of the isolated village with limited resources.

The school recently reached out seeking funding to install a Starlink Internet Dish (Gen 2) to boost educational opportunities for the students and teaching staff. The cost to support the purchase, delivery and installation is A$1300. The school has funding for monthly access once the system is up and running.
