Hello! I have been invited by the International Scholar Laureate on a once in a lifetime experience for international relations and politics. Since I have chosen to attend the South African branch of the program, I will be learning about equality and experience up close how a new democracy functions! This is very exciting for me as I hope to one day become a senator in the US. Learning about how other countries function is crucial to understanding how policies impact others.
I graduated from high school a year early and am now attending LTCC in pursuit of transferring to UC Berkeley for a doctorate in Political Science and Sociology. I currently maintain a 3.9 GPA and am part of my school's student senate. This program will help me bolster my application greatly.
To achieve this goal, I need to raise at least $5190 by December 1st. This is very short notice and I can only hope that my community will pull together and raise the money I need to succeed. Please help me pursue my dreams.
