International Women’s Day Swim for Women’s Aid.

Donation protected
Join me on Friday, March 8th at 12 noon to mark International Women’s Day by taking the plunge into the Irish Sea at the 40 ft Sandycove!

Joined by sea swimming enthusiasts who regularly swim all year round and many who will take the plunge for the first time, we will be raising funds to support Women’s Aid.

Women’s Aid are a critical support for women and children across Ireland who suffer every day from domestic violence.  1 in 5 women in Ireland suffer from domestic abuse. Any amount donated will be greatly received . You are very welcome to show up on the day and take the plunge with us!!

Sea swimming is not only a great form of excercise but is proven to release endorphins in your body which instantly lightens the mood and promotes well being. It has medicinal benefits for many illnesses including arthritis and it’s natural minerals have proven to improve your skin condition. Lastly, ever since I started sea swimming 8 years ago (every Monday morning) I have rarely got a cold !!
