International Students Against Unlawful SEVIS Termination
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am an international graduate student currently studying at the University of Connecticut. Recently, my SEVIS record was unlawfully terminated by the U.S. federal government.
This termination came as a complete shock, and neither I nor others affected by this nationwide issue were granted due legal process. In response, I am determined to pursue justice through legal means. I have retained a Connecticut-based law firm and am now working with an attorney on my case.
To move forward, we need to pay a $405 filing fee, which is required to initiate the legal process. The service fee, according to the lawyer, will range around $200 to $600. I am kindly asking for support to help cover the fee through this donation platform.
I have chosen to make this fundraising effort public because this case has the potential to benefit many others in Connecticut who are facing similar unjust SEVIS terminations. My attorney is preparing for a possible class action lawsuit against the federal government. If my case is successful—or if we are granted a Temporary Restraining Order or Preliminary Injunction—it could set a precedent that helps others pursue justice as well.
That is why I kindly ask for your support. Your contribution is not just for me, but for every international student in Connecticut who has been affected by this unjust action. Thank you for your time and support.
