Dance Together. Give Back Together.

The International Line Dance Flashmob was born in 2020 with a simple idea: to give dancers something to look forward to and a reason to celebrate our shared passion — even during lockdown. What started as an online and video flashmob quickly grew into a global movement.

Today, dancers from hundreds of line dance groups all around the world take part each year — from individual dancers to groups with hundreds of participants. The feedback has been overwhelming and deeply inspiring.

From the very beginning, this project has never been about profit. It has always been — and will remain — from the community, for the community.

Why we are fundraising

This year, we — Ben and Sascha — want to give something back to the line dance world that has given us so much. That’s why we are launching a voluntary donation campaign alongside the International LineDance Flashmob.

The idea is simple: If every participant donates just €1 / $1 / £1, together we can create something truly meaningful — and of course, more is always welcome

About the Flashmob – How to participate

Participation is easy and open to everyone:
Learn one of the two official flashmob choreographies, dance it on Flashmob Day (May 2nd) — anywhere in the world — record a video, and share it with us.

To make the event truly inclusive, there are also special choreography versions for kids, wheelchair users, and “arms-only” dancers, so everyone can be part of the flashmob, regardless of age or ability.

All created videos are collected in YouTube playlists and shared on our website and via Facebook, showcasing the global reach, diversity, and creativity of our community.

Our goal

The fundraising campaign runs from its launch until the end of May.
Afterwards, 100% of the collected funds will be handed over to the Line Dance Foundation.

Every donation — no matter how small — helps turn the joy of dancing into real support for the community we all love.
