International House Of Prayer OneThing Internship

Dear Family and Friends, I wanted to give a life update and ask for partnership in my journey for the upcoming season. As many of you know, I plan on attending the One-Thing Internship in January 2023 at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. For you who do not know of this ministry, IHOP-KC is a 24/7 prayer room constantly ministering to the Lord and contending for His kingdom on earth. IHOP launched on May 7, 1999, and has been continued 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the last 23 years with live, unceasing prayer, intercession, and worship. 

 The One Thing Internship is a six-month program where I will seek the Lord with other young adults in the context of a like-minded community. The central place of this internship will be the IHOP 24/7 prayer room. I will also spend time in classes, serve in various capacities around the mission base, participate in small groups, and receive discipleship.

 I aim to develop a more intimate relationship with the Lord and understand how my calling will fit into His purpose. 

 My life's 'purpose' is the most significant reason I wish to attend the One Thing internship. Purpose has always been a complex concept for me to grasp. I know my purpose is much different from others my age. I have desired to serve the Lord my whole life and pushed that desire down due to life circumstances and what I thought success was supposed to look like. I realize the Lord is developing a different path for me than many of my peers. But, if I live in God's kingdom and pursue His desire for my life, that path for me will have greater meaning and success.

 There are two reasons I am sending you this letter. First, I have a financial need. I'm raising $7,500 in the next few months to begin my internship in January 2023. I have set up a Go Fund Me and will add the link to this letter. I ask your prayerful consideration to sew into my life with financial support. 

 Second, I need and covet your prayers. Please pray with me that my eyes and heart are fixed on Jesus throughout this time. Please pray that I encounter Jesus in a new way and that His purpose for my life begins to move forward rapidly. I desire God's Spirit to create a supernatural fire that will burn brighter in my heart and help me develop a deeper root system in Him.
