Please help Lisa and ares

Hi, my name is Lisa and anyone who knows me knows that I love my dogs as if they were my children. In December of 2022 we lost our Zeus to cancer. Knowing how lost I was without my cuddle buddy a friend sent a rescue our way, this sweet sweet boy was traveling here from South Carolina, his human parents were divorcing and this poor boy was about to be displaced, I was only told that his name was ares (son of zues) and he plays with rocks. (As did my zues). It all seemed to ironic to deny. Well this beautiful boy pulled up in my driveway in February and I knew then it was meant to be. He is the sweetest most handsome 2year old catahula that I could ever imagine! He will play catch for hours, he loves waiting for his boys to come home and cuddling with anyone he can. He absolutely loves to give snuggles and even him and my cat from hell get along great. Last night he was hit by a car while chasing a raccoon out of my yard. He spent the night in ocean state hospital and was sent to Boston angel hospital this morning. He has internal bleeding and needs multiple plates ands screws in his rear leg. Unfortunately the grants that we’ve received will not cover the costs of these two major problems. And I am looking at upwards of $8,000.
I do not Beale this sweet boy needs to be euthanized over financial hardships but the hospital will only do so much. I do not have it in me to lose this boy now also. I am asking my friends and family to please consider helping in any way possible. Even the smallest amounts will help and hopefully save this boys life. Thank you all for reading my story.

update : as of 1:30 today 9/22
He has internal bleeding and in order to find where it is coming from there I have to do an exploratory surgery. The funding that I was approved for does not cover the surgery and that would be later this afternoon totaling $5600.That's not even including the totally shattered leg that he has, which the funding also does not cover, so if it can't be splinted and he needs surgery I'm looking at another 4 to 5000. They're not even approaching that until they figure out where the bleeding internally is coming from.
