URGENT: Restore Mezquita ATTAWHID – First Carpet Change in Decades!

For years, Mezquita ATTAWHID in Móstoles has been the heart of the Muslim community, serving students, families, and new Muslims from across Madrid. It is one of the few mosques in the area, welcoming worshippers from Leganés, Fuenlabrada, Villaviciosa de Odón, Arroyomolinos, and beyond.

But today, this beloved masjid needs your help.

Since it first opened, the mosque has NEVER had a carpet change. The once-soft prayer area is now worn and uncomfortable, making it difficult for worshippers to pray in peace. The bathrooms need urgent maintenance, and the ceiling requires repairs to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all.

We must complete these renovations before Ramadan. Will you help restore this sacred space?

What Needs to Be Fixed:

✅ New Carpets (€8,000) – The first replacement since the mosque opened!

✅ Ceiling Repairs (€185) – Fixing years of wear and tear.

✅ Bathroom Maintenance (€630) – Improving hygiene and accessibility.

✅ Labour Costs (€350) – Ensuring professional renovations.

Daily & Jumu’ah prayers for hundreds of worshippers.

Fund Management & Transparency:

To ensure full transparency, we want to clarify how the funds will be handled:

• I will personally withdraw the funds and transfer them directly to the mosque administration for the renovations.

• The funds will be used exclusively for the mosque’s needs, including new carpets, ceiling repairs, and bathroom maintenance.

• I frequently visit and pray at this mosque, and I have seen firsthand the urgent need for these renovations. As an active member of the community, I am personally overseeing this fundraiser to ensure the funds are used appropriately.
