InterHarmony Music Festival funds

Hi, my name is Caleb Street, and I play the double bass! I am currently in high school, but going to college at UNCG on a good scholarship for music education and music performance. My dreams are to be able to perform in a symphony and teach bass. The music education degree is also for teaching high school, if that's what I decide to do instead. I have made regionals 3 times, all district first chair twice. I have earned multiple good ratings for SEMPA, and my high school band has made multiple good ratings at MPA. Along with high school band, I am first chair in the Raleigh Community Orchestra, and participate in Triangle Youth's symphony programs such as TYP, TYS, and TYO. I have also attended multiple honor colleges and been placed as first chair. I have gone to the Eastern Music Festival summer program, a high-intensity music program for 5 weeks. Every week we would play very difficult pieces and perform them to the public. They all provided masterclasses, which I attended almost all of.

This summer I would like to go to Italy for the Interharmony Music Festival. This music festival would benefit me in so many ways. They perform many chamber pieces, orchestral pieces, and you are able to work closely with all faculty. This festival would give me the advantage and boost I need in order to gain an advantage on my peers audition-wise.
